Join us on Thursday, June 19 for our next luncheon. This month we will be welcoming Dr. Marc Beutel, and Dr. Siddaiah Yarra from UC Merced they will be talking about the growing Civil Engineering Department at UC Merced and what to expect in the future. They will also be talking about the newly chartered ASCE Student Chapter on the UC Merced campus. The student chapter was officially chartered in May 2025.
A little history about UC Merced:
Juan Sánchez Muñoz, Ph.D., took office as the fourth permanent chancellor of UC Merced on July 1, 2020 — the first graduate of the University of California to lead the campus.
